" For a number of years now Steertrak have carried out annual steering and axle alignment checks on all vehicles and trailers within our fleet, we see this as a logical step in effectively managing tyre and fuel costs, and a fleet alignment programme has without question enabled us to achieve this. Since embarking on this programme tyre wear has been reduced across all axles, with increases of around 18% in the life of steer axle tyres, 10% on drive tyre life and a further 13% improvement in trailer super singles.
